Refunds and right of withdrawal
Last updated 23 September 2026
Ebooks are digital content, delivered the moment you order. This page explains what that means for your right to change your mind, and when we give your money back anyway.
Your right of withdrawal
Under consumer law you can usually withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. For digital content supplied other than on a physical medium, that right is lost once supply has started with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you will lose it.
Our checkout asks for exactly that: before you place an order you tick a box consenting to immediate delivery and acknowledging that the right of withdrawal ends when the download is made available. We record the time you gave it with your order.
When we refund
- A faulty or wrong file — damaged, incomplete, unreadable, or not the book described — that we cannot fix by sending a working copy: full refund.
- A duplicate purchase of a book you already bought from us: full refund of the duplicate.
- You have not downloaded the book yet: write to us within 14 days of the order and we will refund it and switch the download off, as a goodwill gesture beyond what the law requires.
How to ask
Email [email protected] with your order reference (it starts with EUT- and is at the top of your order page). We reply within two working days and refund to the original means of payment within 14 days of agreeing to it. Refunded orders can no longer be downloaded.
None of this affects your statutory rights.
